Best Ever Chicken Recipe

Do you guys ever have one of those recipes that you swear you could make every day for the rest of your life and not get sick of eating?  Well, fasten your seatbelts because THIS recipe is my new favorite way to make chicken.  As a sidenote, I really have not been eating it every day even though I might want to.

Honey Mustard Baked Chicken


4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

1/3 cup honey

1/2 cup mustard

1 teaspoon basil

1/2 teaspoon parsley

dash of paprika, to taste

pepper, to taste



Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Place chicken in a lightly greased baking dish and top with pepper, to taste.  Combine honey, mustard, paprika, parsley and basil in a small bowl.  Coat the chicken with half of this mixture, fully covering the chicken.

Place baking dish in the oven and cook for 30 minutes.  Flip the chicken breasts over after the 30 minutes has elapsed and coat with the second half of the honey mustard mixture.  Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until chicken is cooked.

Snapshot of my day. Bootycall (morning workout) was Love Your Body with HIIT, had steel cut oats for breakfast (look out for this recipe next week!), a green smoothie for an afternoon snack before working out and my delicious chicken with green beans for dinner.
